The capital of Ethiopia for more than 1000 years form 100 BC up to 900 AD. Axum is today a site of numerous archeological and Historical findings.

A few worth to mention here are: The ruin of  Palaces of the different kings and Queen of Axum (Queen Sheba), The ancient Tombs, gold and silver coins, The wonderful Monuments (THE STELE), the True Arc of the covenant and many others.
